The Strand is central to no less than 5 ski resorts making it a great place to relax between hitting the slopes. From small learning resorts to larger challenging slopes, everyone will find their place and head back to the house at the end of day to relax.
If you like wave pools, water slides and other water park attractions this is a great area for you. Four huge water parks are less than 30 minutes away and two of them allow for day passes. You are gonna have a blast while dropping down that steep slide (or watching your kids from the bar).
With a short 5-minute walk to lake access, you can fish at a moments notice. Lake Naomi stocks bass, trout, pickerel, pan fish and walleye and has a year round fishing season. You can also take one of our inflatable boats out for on lake fishing. Remember to take your fishing license for 16 and older.
Year-round swimming is within reach at our house. In the summer months enjoy the amazing pool outdoor Lake Naomi pool complex with water slides and kiddie pool or the Timber Trails pool featuring an in water climbing wall. When the weather gets colder check out the indoor pool at the Lake Naomi Community Center with spray park, spa, sauna and steam room.
With a renowned tennis club featuring 18 Har-Tru courts you can get your tennis game going just a mile from our house. On season and off season hours are offered as well as a Pro Shop
Lake Naomi is well known for boating of all types with great sailing climate and easy to navigate waters. You can take out our inflatable boats (remember your life vests) or rent sailboats, row boats and paddleboats during the Lake’s high season. Boating is allowed on the lake from April 15th to November 15th.
From the time our kids were small we have taken them hiking and they love it each time. You have easy access to short hikes right in the Lake Naomi Region suitable for all ages. A short drive will take you to more challenging hikes of all types in the Delaware Water Gap area. Bring your hiking boots and get easy access to the outdoors.
One of our favorite things about our house is relaxing in the great room with light streaming in from the large windows while sipping a steaming cup of tea, coffee or a special drink. You can curl up under a blanket, play some of our board games or watch a movie with views of the trees right out the window. You can open up one of our yoga mats and get your online class going or cook up a meal in the open plan kitchen.
With your temporary Lake Naomi membership in hand you have easy access to the Community center with large pool facilities, a great workout room and classes, games room, multi-sport rooms and many other features. Rain or shine, warm or cold you can keep yourself busy there.
